Prerequisite: successful completion of the first semester of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Corequisites: COMM 108, NURA 105, PSY 156. A continuation of NURA 103-Nursing I. This course continues to focus on wellness, health promotions and health maintenance issues. Emphasis is on the use of the nursing process to address acute illness and surgical care of clients across the lifespan. Students develop theoretical and clinical competence while caring for patients who are acutely ill.
