Prerequisites: MATH 152 and PHYS 201, or consent of instructor. An organized investigation of engineering materials, including their classification, properties, and means of testing to determine their properties. The application of materials to manufactured and constructed products and the effects of manufacturing processes and in-service stress on materials will be considered.
