The course emphasizes methods for the management of information security through the development of policies, procedures, audits, and logs. It also addresses threats, risks, and vulnerabilities, emerging technologies in areas like smart cards, digital signatures, and biometrics, and methods for the analysis of legal, ethical, and privacy issues in information systems.
