Payment Plan Options
The Payment Plan options offered by Morehead State University are as follows:
Standard Payment Plan
Enrollment fee of $40 for net balances of less than $1,000.
Enrollment fee of $75 for net balances of $1,000 or more.
The enrollment fee and first payment plan amount are due one week prior to the start of classes, to prevent class schedules from being cancelled.
Beginning Fall semester 2010 amount available for payment plan is divided into three payments due August, September, and October.
Spring semester 2011 - amount available for payment plan is divided into three payments due January, February, and March.
Summer sessions 2011 payment is due in full prior to the start of classes for each summer session. No standard payment plans are available for summer sessions.
Students must register by the first day classes begin to avoid a $75 late registration fee.
Students must make payments as scheduled above to avoid a late payment charge at the monthly rate of 0.65% on outstanding balances and to avoid a hold being placed on their account.
Financial Aid Pending Plan
No enrollment fee. Available for Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions.
Students who are eligible for and awarded enough financial aid to cover their entire balance are required to enroll in this plan one week prior to the start of classes, to prevent class schedules from being cancelled.
Students who have a third party paying their entire balance are required to enroll in this plan one week prior to the start of classes, to prevent class schedules from being cancelled. Written authorization from the sponsor or third party payer must be received prior to one week before the start of classes to be eligible for this plan.
Changes in financial aid, tuition, course fee(s), class changes, books, housing, meal plan or miscellaneous charges will automatically update the payment plan amounts due. Notification of these changes will be reflected in the billing statement and may result in an increase or decrease in the amount due for the month being billed. Students may, at any time, elect to pay an amount greater than the amount due on the billing statement or pay the balance in full.
- All students who have registered for classes MUST pay in full OR enroll in an online payment plan one week prior to the beginning of classes, to prevent class schedules from being dropped.
- Students who have class schedules dropped will have until the last day to add a class to reregister and pay in full OR enroll in an online payment plan.
- One week after the last day to add classes each semester a final drop of schedules will be done for students who have not paid in full OR enrolled in an online payment plan.
E-Billing
All billing statements are sent via email to each student's assigned university email account. It is the student's responsibility to check the assigned email account on a regular basis for balances due.
