Explanation of Payment Plans
When a student registers for classes they are creating a financial obligation due to Morehead State University (MSU). The total semester charges (tuition, housing, meal plans, books and fees) less financial aid/scholarship/third party payments for each semester result in the amount available for a Payment Plan. Beginning Fall Semester 2010, students are required to make payment in full or enroll in a payment plan one week prior to the start of classes, to prevent class schedules from being cancelled. Students receiving financial aid, scholarships, or third party payments that will cover their entire balance are required to enroll in a Financial Aid Pending Plan one week prior to the start of classes, to prevent class schedules from being cancelled.
