Prerequisites: "C" or better in VET 257, VET 258, VET 259, VET 260, VET 261, VET 262, VET 264, VET 265, BIOL 213. Corequisite: VET 358. A study of clinical procedures, techniques and preventive medicine principles related to assisting the practicing veterinarian with small animal clinical cases, hospital management, and client education related to companion animal practice. Some evening and weekend duties are required.
