Prerequisites: EDF 207, EDF 211, EDEE 305. An explanation of the developmental aspects of the reading process with particular emphasis on grades 5-9 skills and strategies needed for school and lifelong reading and learning. Included are instructional, assessment, materials, and management as they pertain to middle grades reading instruction.
