CIS 413. IS Design and Implementation.

Prerequisite: CIS 211, & CIS 311 or CS 380. This course introduces the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), information systems (IS) project management, systems analysis, structured systems design, information systems strategic planning, and best practices for the design, planning, implementation, and support of information systems. Students will learn how to do systems analysis and design for and how to plan an IS project and implement the project using project management principals. This class makes use of case studies to promote critical thinking and further understanding of topics covered in the class.
