Prerequisite: BIOL 105, SOC 101. Students study literate and nonliterate cultures using the ethnographic approach. Universal aspects of human experience, including the family, economic, political and religious systems examined in cross-cultural perspective are explained. This course satisfies the area studies-social and behavioral sciences for general education. Equates with WST 305 and IST 305.
