Prerequisite: one of the following: CHEM 111, MATH 141, 174, 175,"C" or better in MATH 152, or ACT Math subscore of 22 or above. Kinematics, laws of motion, work and energy, impulse and momentum. Gravitation, rotation and equilibrium. Elasticity, fluids and simple harmonic motion. Heat, heat transfer, thermodynamics, waves and sound. This course satisfies the area studies-natural and mathematical sciences for general education.
