A study of practical criminal and civil law which every citizen should know; designed to provide an understanding of a person's legal rights and responsibilities, a knowledge of everyday legal problems, and the ability to analyze, evaluate, and, in some instances, resolve simple legal disputes. This course may not be taken for Paralegal Studies credit. This course satisfies the area studies-practical living for general education.
