This course will introduce students to the study of world cultures and provide an understanding of contemporary global issues. Using historical and literary texts, CD-ROM technology and films in a multimedia approach, students will examine selected social, political, economic, and cultural phenomena in the context of world history. This course satisfies the area studies-humanities for general education. Cross listed with HIS 201.
