Prerequisites: ITCD 403, ITCD 315 and MATH 152 or higher. Mathematical and graphic solution of problems involving the principles of machine elements. A study of motion of linkages, velocities, and acceleration of points within a link mechanism; layout methods for designing cams, belts, pulleys, gears and gear trains.
