HUM 340. Health and the Hispanic Community: Cultural Perspectives.

Prerequisite: sophomore standing. A foundation course for the development of cultural sensitivity through the examination of culturally diverse values and beliefs with a focus on the experience of Hispanic communities; the course includes individual projects where students will gather materials and develop skills needed to communicate with the Hispanic population of the United States. This course satisfies area studies- humanities for general education.
