Prerequisite: completion of the
(nine hour) general education requirement in English and literature or consent of department. A survey course designed to develop students' awareness of women's literature, poetry, contributions to science, and history, as well as an introduction to feminist theory. Women scholars of all nations and races will be highlighted.
