EDF 311. Learning Theories and Assessment in Education.

Prerequisites: admission to TEP and EDF 211. Theories, principles, and concepts of human development, learning, motivation, and assessment are presented and applied to the interpretation and explanation of human behavior in relation to classroom practices and the teaching profession. Twelve hours of field experience

(observation) in a school or other educational agency is required and is a foundational element of the course.
