EDEC 426. Activities and Materials in Early Childhood Education: Infants & Toddlers.

Prerequisites: HS 253, EDEE 305, IECE 365, senior status and admission to TEP. This course investigates the needs and interests of infant and toddlers and develops professional views in selecting, implementing and designing appropriate teaching materials as well as instruction that can foster children's growth in each developmental area-cognitive, aesthetic, emotional, social, and physical. Laboratory experiences are an integral part of this course.
