Prerequisite: DMS 470. Corequisite: DMS 480. Restriction: admission into the diagnostic medical sonography program. A continuation of technical and professional aspects of diagnostic sonography in a health care setting with emphasis on the role of the student as an independent entry level sonographer. Evaluation includes areas such as abdomen, superficial structures, gynecology, and obstetrics. Thirty-two hours of clinical experience per week for four weeks.
