Prerequisite: CMJN 201. Study and application of sources, methods, and technologies used in gathering information for news stories. Includes locating, analyzing and using both hard-copy and electronically accessed documents, records and other facts sources, interviewing techniques, and the legal and ethical implications of information gathering and usage.
