Nonteaching Major and Minor

The department offers a nonteaching major and minor for students who would like to study special education but do not desire teacher certification. The major or minor is often taken in connection with majors or minors (for example, recreation or psychology) which prepare individuals to work with adults or children in nonpublic school settings.
