Students who so elect have the option to participate in direct deposit of their refund checks. Students may sign up for direct deposit via WebAdvisor located at www.moreheadstate.edu. Refund checks are usually mailed or directly deposited 10 days before the first day of classes for each semester. Students who have advance registered for classes and are expecting a refund check, but do not receive it prior to the beginning of classes, should check with their financial aid counselor to ensure that financial aid has been awarded. Federal regulations state that for first time, first year borrowers of a Federal Direct Loan, Direct Loan funds cannot be disbursed until 30 days after the first day of classes.
