PSY 673. Psychotherapy I.
(2-2-3); II.
Prerequisite: admission to graduate study in clinical/counseling psychology. Study of major theories and systems of psychotherapy and behavior change, including psychoanalytic, humanistic, and behavior/cognitive-behavioral orientations. Contemporary issues and empirical research will also be addressed. Laboratory component involving training in basic therapeutic skills and interventions.
