EDSP 613. Advanced Topics in Effective Practice in Special Education.

Prerequisite: EDSP 610, EDSP 611, and EDSP 614 or EDSP 616; corequisite: EDSP 615 or EDSP 617. This course provides the advanced level of skills needed to design, manage, and deliver effecitve instruction to students with disabilities. This course is made up of the following three modules: 1) Characteristics of Disordered Behavior, 2) Collaboration, and 3) Transition to Adult Life. The academic record of incoming candidates with prior special education preparation will be evaluated to determine which modules will be required.
