EDSP 643. Teaching the Elementary Gifted and Talented Child.

Prerequisite: EDSP 641. Course is designed to prepare the classroom teacher in developing strategies and materials appropriate for the gifted and talented child in the elementary and middle grades (K-9). Students will become familiar with a variety of program approaches, with technology emphasized, as well as materials, and specific instructional strategies for the gifted and talented through field experiences and investigating current literature.
