Ed.S. in Adult and Higher Education
Admission Requirements
- One year of full-time teaching experience recommended.
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Criteria for admission are based upon:
- Evidence of superior scholastic performance (GPA 3.5).
- A GRE score of 750 on the verbal and quantitative sections.
- Interview with the applicant by the admissions committee.
- Applicant's background in the area of his/her proposed specialization.
- Recommendations from selected references.
- TOEFL score of 525 (197 computer-based) or English Language Institute Test of the University of Michigan score of 74.
Requirements for the Degree
- Twenty-four semester hours of coursework approved by the student's advisory committee.
- Completion of an applied project (six semester hours).
- Comprehensive written or oral examinations.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must be unconditionally admitted.
